12TH ANNUAL “STRIDE FOR LIFE WALK” – SATURDAY, MAY 7TH 2016

The Cancer Society of the Bahamas will hold its 12th Annual “Stride For Life” WALK on Saturday May 7th starting promptly at 6am.  Toward this end, we have commissioned students from all high schools Grade 7 through 12, to design the logo that encompasses our theme, “Life, Hope, Love, Caring and Unity”.

I am pleased to announce that Carline Vernot, a 10th Grade C.C. Sweeting Sr. High School student is the winner. Cassidy Clarke and Kamara Stubbs, both of St. John’s College came 2nd and 3rd respectively. The winning design will be displayed in the foyer of the Cancer Society for period of one year.

We are grateful for the sponsorship from Micronet, Tronicquest and Customs Computers for providing handsome gifts for the winners.

Cancer affects all of us, hence we are calling on churches, schools, civic organizations, communities, youth groups, Junkanoo groups, sporting organizations, businesses and individuals to lend their support through sponsorship and participation.

Please contact us at the Cancer Society of the Bahamas, East Terrace, Centreville 323-4482, or Email strideforlifewalk@gmail.com
