22nd Annual Cancer Ball: The Essence Of Africa

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas is excited to announce its 22nd Annual Cancer Ball, scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Imperial Ballroom, Atlantis, Paradise Island. As the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, the Cancer Ball plays a vital role in supporting those affected by cancer in The Bahamas.

This year, we are thrilled to infuse the event with the vibrant spirit of Africa, celebrating “The Essence of Africa” throughout the evening. Drawing inspiration from the continent’s rich culture, diversity, and resilience, we aim to create an unforgettable experience while underscoring the importance of unity in the fight against cancer.

An integral part of the evening is the recognition of our esteemed Honorees. In 2024, we are proud to present the Susan Andrews Award to Dr. Sin-Quee-Brown and the Lifetime Achievement Award to Bahama First. Additionally, we are introducing the prestigious “Golden Legacy Award“, with the Andrews’ Family as its inaugural recipient. As always, we will also spotlight some of our nation’s remarkable cancer survivors.
