24th Annual Cancer Ball

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas is delighted to announce its 24th Annual Cancer Ball, set to take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Atlantis Paradise Island. This signature event remains central to our fundraising initiatives and plays a vital role in supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer throughout The Bahamas.

This year, the Cancer Society proudly celebrates a major milestone; 50 years of care, support, promise and hope with this year’s Ball theme: “Egyptian Nights: 50 Years of Hope.”

The evening will be a spectacular tribute to five decades of advocacy, resilience, and progress in the fight against cancer. Inspired by the mystique and grandeur of ancient Egypt, the event will blend elegance, symbolism, and celebration—creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

A key highlight of the evening will be the recognition of our 2026 Distinguished Honourees; Royal Bank of Canada (Lifetime Commitment), Dr. Christine Chin (Susan Andrews), Mrs. Richenda King (Susan Andrews) and Kelly’s Home Centre (Legacy) alongside the celebration of remarkable cancer survivors whose strength and stories continue to inspire our nation.  These individuals embody the very essence of hope and perseverance that this milestone represents.

We greatly value your partnership and look forward to welcoming you as part of this historic evening.
