ADULT CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

This Support Group offers a safe space for women and men ages 40 and over affected by cancer to share their experiences and emotions with others in similar situations. Although the experiences of each person diagnosed with cancer vary greatly from one to another, a good support system is needed in order for those to cope throughout the different stages of their process.

Support is not only offered to patients suffering from specific or any types of cancer but also for those that support patients suffering such as Caregivers.

Professional-led by clinical personnel, the Cancer Support Group meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Cancer Society Headquarters.

For patients who find it difficult to leave their home during treatment or want to remain anonymous, we offer an online support group via Facebook
