Since 1990, May has been proclaimed as Cancer Awareness Month. To this day, the Cancer Society use this month to bring awareness to all types of cancer through various media outlets and educational and social events concluding with our signature Annual Gala Ball on the last Saturday in May to end the month in a major way.

“Vintage Virtual Ball 2021 – “The Good Old Days”
Covid-19 may have boxed us in last year but this year it has pushed us to think outside of the box. This year the Cancer Society of the Bahamas will host a Virtual Ball!
Tickets are $175.00 toward a worthy cause. Sponsorship Packages and E-booklet Ads are available for purchase, as well as we accepts cash donations. Meals for the Ball will be provided by Sapodilla and Wild Thyme Restaurants.
Proceeds from the ball will help to provide funding for our many Cancer initiatives, especially the Cancer Caring Centre, where were accommodate persons from the Family Islands that travel to New Providence to undergo various cancer treatments.
The ball will be streamed live @ 7:00 p.m. Patrons will still get the “Ball experience” as they will be able to bid on our silent auction, purchase raffle tickets and win door prizes and surprises! Are you feeling the ball? Because we certainly are!
This will be a night of fun, lots of entertainment and fabulous prizes. During the celebration we will honour our 2020 recipients of the Susan Andrews and Lifetime Awards.
The Vintage Virtual Ball promises to be an evening you won’t want to miss and an event you’ll never forget! That’s Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at 7pm. We’re bringing back The Good Old Days!
